Simply swipe your finger on the sensor for access to your files. Up to five fingerprint profiles can be stored.
The fingerprint sensor uses an Advanced live layer imaging technology to provide the most accurate fingerprint image possible by way of a patented dual-plate active pixel design. The sensor uses three different sensing methods that penetrate outer layers of skin to read live layers under the skin (Anti-spoofing protection), meeting the stringent image quality requirements of NIST and the FBI.
256-bit AES XTS encrypted
Software-Free, 100% hardware-based 256-bit AES XTS encrypted, onboard keypad PIN authenticated, and ultra-fast USB 3.1 (3.0) data transfer speeds. All Data is encrypted on the fly and the device’s PINs and Data remain encrypted while the drive is at rest.
Malware Prevention
All internal componentry is protected from physical tampering with a layer of hardened epoxy, and the firmware is locked down to prevent any modifications making it impervious to malware attacks such as BadUSB.

The Aegis Bio's unique Embedded Enrollment keeps all fingerprint enrollment and authentication within the Aegis Bio circuitry, never sharing it with any host system. While other biometric drives use a CD emulation module or software on the host system for fingerprint enrollment, the Aegis Bio involves no software, enabling it to be used on any USB host regardless of its OS.
